Francesca Palombo was born in the Hudson Valley, New York, and studied Fine Art at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, with a focus on Painting and Art History. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles, where she started her career in film as a Set Dresser and Prop Master. She eventually transitioned to Production Design on commercials and smaller content series, before designing her first feature film "Plus One" for frequent collaborators Andrew Rhymer and Jeff Chan. The film won the Audience Award at Tribeca in 2019 and led to collaborations with other independent film directors, including Adam Rehmeier for "Dinner in America", which premiered at Sundance in 2020, and "Snack Shack", which completed production in late 2022. She also worked with director Tim Sutton on "Taurus", which premiered at Berlinale in 2022. At the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, Francesca has three films premiering: "The Line", directed by Ethan Berger, "Cypher", directed by Chris Mourkabel, and "Downtown Owl", directed by Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater.
